About Me

My name is Rob ,sometimes known as "Dusty the saddletramp" or "Dusty the gambler"

You'll find me on Facebook under Robin Laceby Cooke ,see yer ther.

I've been a keen claypigeon shooter since 1979.. In 1988 I joined the Scunthorpe Mavericks raising money for local charities ,travelling around and putting on Wild West shows at country fairs and shows,,,thats how I met Elaine my partner. .When the Mavericks ceased to be in 1992 ,both me and Elaine went for our FAC's. In 1989,May of that year I suffered a bad accident at work involving a horse ,and now I'm partly disabled...Sadly I lost my Elaine thru illness last year ,now I have just taken the post of Secretary with the Hemswell shooting club ,something she did in 2003 till 2005 ,gonna need to get my old rig out and find my battered old stetson and try some of this cowboy action shooting ,I think it may be better then bursting balloons
