Malpaso from Shootists has joined us in trying to bring another venue into our stable.

The first trial shoot will be at Ely, Cambridgeshire, on Sept. 22nd the w/e following the Leek shoot.

As this is a new venue and some (hopefully) new recruits, 'The Management' would like as full a turnout as possible, if only as helpers.

Apparently, camping will be allowed Friday and Saturday nights with a BBQ, (Sat.) and Sunday shooting will not cost any extra.

So, if you can, please support this new enterprise, I will post more details as they become available.

Terry's just been on, apparently the 22nd clashes with one of their multi-genre re'n'act's, so hang fire a little on making any arrangements.

Please, anyone reading this, confirm if you are attending Ely on 6th October, as Malpaso says that if there are not firm numbers, it will not take place.

have you got an address for the Ely venue?

Bob, we dont have an address as such but is halfway between the villages of MEPAL and SUTTON on the A142 a few miles NW of ELY.

It will be marked or signposted BWSS at the lane end.

OK  people, the next shoot will be at Ely, on the A142 between the villages og Mepal and Sutton and will be signed, BWSS, at the entrance.

If we can get a good attendance, and put on a good demo and persuade the hosts around to our way of thinking, then this could be an annual venue.

To reiterate, there is no running water, (or toilets as far as I know) so make sure you have an adequate supply.

Camping is allowed on site from Friday PM, there is going to be a catering van (fast food).

There is a Travel lodge at the end of the A142 at Ely, a few miles away for the old and infirm among us.

Please do your best to get there.
