Hi,

I am a FAC and SGC holder and normally go target shooting, but this has got a little tired recently and I would like to try something else.

CAS or SAS seems like it might be the thing for me.

What would I need to do to come and take part? Firearmwise I have a Marlin 1894c .357, a Pietta 1858 .44 and an Escort 12g pump (2 shot) - I have  acouple of others, but none that would work for this kind of shooting.

Would these work? What else would I need? How much does it cost to join the club?

Thanks very much,

Mark.

EDIT - I live just outside of Manchester BTW.

Hi, B&D, depending which class you wish to shoot in, what you already have is a good start.

Generally you would need to pair up your pistol and the shotgun needs to be a non-eject side by side or a Winchester pump of no later than 1897 (or clone).

Gunbelt and holsters, hat and boots, but you can get them at your convenience.

Your Marlin will be fine and you don't need full-house loads.

Which side of Manchester are you?

Leek shooting ground may be the nearest of our venue's to you.

Attending one of our shoots will give you a good idea of how we perform.

Any other ???'s, email dbsmedley@hotmail.com
