Once again another great turn out at Leek with a total of 16 shooters on the Sunday.  With genrally the only one problem. The weather was in our favour and everyone had a fun time. We have pictures a few videos and the results that will be put on shortly.  We all had fun. Some rewards will be givin out to the people that won them, the next time I see the certain individual. We are looking forward to next year and If dates can be booked A.S.A.P we can all put the date in our shooting calenders. Thanks to all who came and we hope to see you soon.

Great shoot thanks to Donald and family for setting it up. We all get p***ed off and wonder why we bother at times and a weekend like this tells you why. Seven stages each day and good weather what more can you ask. Once again thanks Donald but make your bloody shotgun poppers bigger :D

Hi McCauley, I've just been trawling through the members details and noticed that some of us are down as 'Moderators'.

Does this have any significance or is it just a typo and should read 'Member'?

Do any of our members have 'posse names' or do we just exist as individual members because there are not enough people from each club?

Just to start the ball rolling, is there any objection to Angel Eyes and Mule being known as the Mansfield Marauders?

Hello? Hello?....is there anybody out there???

Grimsby (18th & 19th July)

Once again we have visited Grimsby for a two daycompetition. And once again we had a brilliant time. On the Saturday we had acomp with just under half a dozen of us, we all had a good time and with LittleWing using all three types of firearm we use. That night we had a brilliant barbequewith a bit of singing and guitar both from Selby and The Undertaker which wasn’tto bad. On the Sunday we once again had a quite large turn out with lots ofquick time and few misses. The stages once again were “easy” and all in all anothergreat day. Soon  after a few of usattended the Baikal Challenge. We had a very competitive try and we all hadfun. I would like to thank  Stuart forthe great time and to all of the members of Northcoates Butts for setting abrilliant atmosphere.

Grimsby (may 30th-31st)

Once again we had another beautiful day at grimsby. We were sad to see not as many people turn up as we did last time but all the same their were enough for a good days shoot. Something else we dont usually have was a small long range side shoot with people seeing who could achieve the highest score. We saw that Deputy Dewey was the one who would wint with a score of 18. We had a good time doing the comp with two new young hopefuls who once their are older will be trying to beat us. We all had a good time even  if we did have a few mishaps on the ways. Overall it was a nice hot day with lots to do and a brilliant lunchtime meal.

Side by sides

I have recivesd an email from a member who thinks that we should try and be more original to the true spirit of the west. Who would like the BWSS to revert to using side by side shotguns. The only problem with a side by side is when we come to shotgun stages. but during a stage there is on average six shotgun targets. So in theroy a pump and s/s are the same speed. please comment on what you think all thoughts are welcome.

On April 5th we had our second shoot of the year. It was a bright sunny day and there was an brilliant atmosphere that put us all in great mood for a fantastic days shooting. Everyone their and roaring to go we got started with no problems. Until you got Donald with his Catlemen Shotgun Primer Conversion. All day we had a few that didnt go, we also had one peerson forgetting his pistols at the line. Shooters from previous competitions will know who. Everyone all in all had a good time everyone getting faster and everyone getting confused with the course of fire. All results will be posted soon. we hope to have such a big turnout in kent ay the begining of May
